Our Surgeons

Mr. Ahmed is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. He is a high volume minimally invasive hip replacement surgeon, performing over 500 hip replacements a year. His protocols both during and after surgery ensure minimal blood loss and rapid recovery for all his patients.

He graduated from University of Sheffield’s Medical School and completed his Higher Surgical Training in Trauma & Orthopaedics in Kent, Surrey and Sussex. He then went on to gain international experience in Toronto to further sub-specialise in lower limb arthroplasty. Following this, he worked at University College London Hospital gaining significant experience in complex hip and knee replacements, revision hip surgery and robotic hip and knee arthroplasty. During his fellowship he performed a high volume of robotic joint replacements.

He is an active member of the British Orthopaedic Association, British Hip Society and European Hip Society.
